Inspiring Hearts and Minds: Alisha Del Campo, Philippine National Footballer, visits BSM

This week, students were delighted to welcome professional footballer Alisha Del Campo as part of BSM’s annual Flourish Festival.

Alisha shared her personal journey with students, speaking openly about perseverance, teamwork, and the need to believe in yourself. Through engaging stories and thoughtful discussion, she encouraged children to recognise their own strengths, support one another, and keep going when faced with challenges. Her message resonated with students and adults alike as it strongly reflects the core values we hold dear.

Students listened attentively and asked insightful questions, demonstrating empathy and curiosity as they explored what it means to build healthy relationships and maintain a positive mindset. The session provided a powerful real-life example of how dedication, encouragement from others, and self-belief can shape success, on and off the sports field.

Our House Spirit event was another highlight of the week! It was truly a joy to see students from different year groups coming together and having so much fun. New connections have been made that will no doubt be sustained throughout the academic year.
