Service with a Splash: Fundraising Fun at the Great British Splash
On Friday, 23 May, the BSM community brought big-hearted joy and spirited generosity to the PTA’s Great British Splash — with three student-led fundraising stalls making waves for service partners across Metro Manila.
In a soaking show of solidarity, ChildHaus took charge of the wildly popular Dunk a Teacher stall, where students and families gleefully aimed for the bullseye to tip water buckets over brave BSM staff — all in the name of cancer care and child support.
One Million Lights turned mischief into impact with their creative Jail Booth, inviting attendees to lock up friends, family, and even a few willing teachers inside a human-sized cage — all for a worthy cause: solar lights for communities without reliable electricity.
Meanwhile, the Service & Sustainability Student Council brought brains and buzz with their Carnival Games stall, featuring a lucky dice roll and a colour-matching cup box challenge. Players reached into a concealed box to find hidden coloured cups, aiming to make a perfect match based on memory and feel alone. The excitement was palpable, and every attempt helped raise funds for local education and inclusion partners.
All three stalls were not only crowd favourites — they were also successful in building meaningful funds for BSM’s long-standing service partners, raising over PhP15,000.00 between them. Together, they showed how playful action can ripple into real-world change. A huge thank you to our student organisers, volunteers, and everyone who showed up with smiles, pesos, and school spirit!
