Members of the Service & Sustainability Council were delighted to be able to attend ISM’s Sustainability Summit 2024: Empowering Sustainability on Saturday, 16 November. It was a wonderful opportunity to mix with other schools and learn about their Sustainability initiatives. There were workshops from Kids4Kids, IRRI, and RENDER amongst others. The highlight was the keynote speech and Q&A from Senator and former VP Candidate Kiko Pangilinan who spoke with passion about the importance of sustainability within our rural communities to support the long-term economic development of the Philippines.
Coming up next week we have our Filipino Sign Language (FSL) ASA running a stall during Primary and Senior School lunch by the Children’s gate to give everyone an opportunity to learn about FSL. A great opportunity for all!
