IBDP Graduate Exhibition: Resonance highlights and Animal Farm

IBDP Graduate Exhibition: Resonance

The Visual Arts Department was proud to present Resonance, this year’s IBDP Visual Art Graduate Exhibition, held in Bayanihan during the final week of term on the 25th of March. The exhibition showcased the work of our Year 13 Graduate Visual Art students, reflecting two years of research, investigation and technical skill development.

Each student presented an individual body of work shaped by their own ideas and perspectives, while collaborating together to execute a collective exhibition. The cohort curated nearly 100 pieces of artwork this year. Each year, the exhibition highlights the nature of the IBDP Visual Art course, where process and planning is equal to the finished work. This is always a unique opportunity for students who choose to take Visual Art into their graduating year, and we are as always, immensely proud of them and equally grateful to the BSM community for the ongoing support. Thank you to everyone who attended the event this year!

With sincere gratitude,

Ms Jackson and the Visual Art Department, and the Year 13 Visual Art students

Animal Farm

We are excited to present this year’s second Senior School production, Animal Farm by George Orwell and adapted by Tatty Hennessey.

Based on George Orwell’s powerful and thought-provoking fairytale, the story follows a group of farm animals who rise up against their human owner in the hope of creating a fair and equal society. As they take control, their vision begins to shift in unexpected ways, offering insights into leadership, power, and trust.

This dynamic production features a cast of 27 students from Key Stages 3–5, showcasing the depth of talent, creativity, and collaboration across our Drama programme. With imaginative staging and committed performances, Animal Farm promises to be a compelling and memorable theatrical experience.

Tuesday-Thursday, 28-30 April, Bayanihan Hall, CAC, 04.00pm, Approx. 80 minutes (no interval)

Parental Guidance: Suitable for Year 7+ Serious themes and some implied violence

Tickets are free for the BSM community—we warmly encourage you to come along and support our students: Get your tickets HERE.
