Summer Concert Celebrates a Year of Music at BSM

Music
At the end of last term, our annual Summer Concert brought the BSM community together in Bayanihan Hall for a fantastic evening celebrating another busy year of music-making across the school.
The concert featured musicians from Primary through to Senior School, with performances from our Junior and Chamber Orchestras, Junior, Show and Staff Choirs, Magic Mallets, and student rock bands After Hours, Blue Flames, 5th Period, Reverie and Bazingos. The programme ranged from Coldplay, Green Day and The Killers to music from Moana, Doctor Who, and How to Train Your Dragon, before our Show Choir and Chamber Orchestra joined forces for a special finale from Matilda the Musical.
The evening was also a chance to celebrate the commitment and progress of our young musicians following a year filled with concerts, assemblies, community performances and other musical opportunities. Congratulations to everyone who performed, and a huge thank you to our staff, coaches, families and wider BSM community for their continued support of Music at BSM.
