FOBISIA Radio Play Challenge 2024-2025
The works of five groups of Year 5 students have been selected by the Drama Department for submission to the FOBISIA Radio Play Challenge 2024-2025 hosted by Wellington College Hangzhou Drama Department and Dukebox Radio Station. This is an online radio play competition on bringing stories to life through voice and sound.
Throughout Term 1, all the Year 5 students learned about radio plays - their history and essential elements - and worked hard to develop their use of voice to convey character and emotion. They wrote and developed their own scripts and rehearsed their radio plays over several weeks before making their final recordings. Following a rigorous selection process, these are the five radio plays that will represent BSM in the Upper Primary Category of the FOBISIA Radio Play Challenge:
- 'Ball Pit of Doom' - Hannah, Sofia, Andie, Lana, & Orange
- 'Plane Escape' - Stella, Leon, Andrew, Evie, Max, & Catherina
- 'Humans' - Amara, Ora, Flynn, Ethan, & Olivia
- 'Luke's Grand Hunt' - Cynthia, Matteo, Stella, Leyla, Logan, & Leonie
- 'Zapz' - Adriana, Tamara, Sam, Aiden, Rivaan, & Arnav
Congratulations to these students for their creativity and hard work! The top entries from schools all over Asia will be announced in April. Best wishes and good luck!

Their hard work and artistic risk-taking truly paid off—well done to Group 1 (Jacob, Justine, and Isaac) and Group 2 (Joelle, Adrianna, and Nina)!
