FOBISIA Radio Play Challenge 2025 Winners & Shakespeare in the Amphitheatre: Twelfth Night

We are thrilled to announce that a group of Year 5 students have won the BEST OVERALL RADIO DRAMA for the Primary School age sector in the FOBISIA Radio Play Challenge 2025! In addition, another group received an Honourable Mention of Excellence Award!

Hosted by Wellington College Hangzhou Drama Department and Dukebox Radio Station, the FOBISIA Radio Play Challenge 2025 is an online competition on bringing stories to life through voice and sound. 17 member schools participated in this challenge, submitting entries in each of the Primary and Senior age group categories. Throughout Term 1, all of our Year 5 students wrote and developed their own radio play scripts in groups of five or six, and worked hard to develop their use of voice to convey character and emotion. They rehearsed over many weeks before making their final recordings.

We are so proud of all our Year 5 students for their creativity, enthusiasm and hard work! And of course, a SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS to the winning groups:
