FOBISIA Primary Drama Festival 2025
From 28-31 May, we were delighted to bring 12 Year 6 students to Bangkok to take part in the FOBISIA Primary Drama Festival, Down the Rabbit Hole, hosted by the Bangkok Patana School. They joined over 200 students from 15 other FOBISIA schools, diving into a world of imagination, exploring drama, music, and dance.
Inspired by ‘Alice in Wonderland’, Down the Rabbit Hole was facilitated by the UK-based children's theatre company Divergent Drama, who performed and led dynamic workshops in acting, puppetry, clowning, dance and choral singing. Through collaborative creation, the students devised their own version of ‘Alice in Wonderland’, which was showcased on the final day. It was a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and, most importantly, serious fun!
We are so proud of our students for their openness to collaboration, willingness to try out new things, their creative contributions to group work, and their focus and strong performance skills on stage.
Congratulations and well done to Izzi, Gabe, Frankie, Evie, & Louise (6AH); AJ, Sadie, & Imaan (6JG); Annika, Younglim, Erica, & Alejandra (6MW)!

Make Your Mark: The 2025 Primary Art Exhibition
The British School Manila’s Primary Art Exhibition, Make Your Mark, was a celebration of creativity, experimentation and personal expression. Showcasing a wide range of student artwork from Year 1 to Year 6, the exhibition offered a vibrant glimpse into the artistic journeys taking place across the Primary School.
Each year group brought something unique to the exhibition. Year 1 explored colour, portraiture, and nature through vibrant, imaginative projects. Year 2 focussed on identity and claywork, inspired by artists like Kehinde Wiley. Year 3 showcased their understanding of art elements and Pop Art. Year 4 experimented with printmaking, weaving and sculpture. Year 5 combined mythology, still life, and clay techniques. Year 6 demonstrated independence through mixed media, detailed painting, sculpture, and photography.
Make Your Mark was more than an exhibition of final pieces - it was a celebration of the risks taken, ideas explored, and the creative marks each student has made throughout the year.
