Upcoming events in the first week of Term 3

We have four upcoming events in the first week of Term 3 that we would like to share with families now, so that you can register for them and save the dates. It is going to be another busy week!

Study Permit/Student Visa Information Session: USA, UK, Canada

📅Tuesday, 14 April, 02.40 pm, LRC Level 2, Screen Space

While this session was primarily designed for Year 13 families, we recognise that families in other year levels may wish to learn more a year in advance to support future planning.  We are hosting a Visa/Study Permit Information Session with trusted visa specialists and consulate representatives who regularly work with students heading to Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This afternoon is designed to give you clear guidance on the process ahead and provide an opportunity to ask questions specific to your situation.

Register here.

US Admissions Workshop: Highly Selective Colleges

📅Thursday, 16 April, 03.00pm-04.00pm, LRC Level 2, Screen Space

In their first visit to the Philippines since 2017, representatives from Claremont McKenna College, Bates College, Colgate University, and Haverford College will share insights with students, families, and counsellors. The session will explore what defines a liberal arts education, how these institutions differ, and the qualities they seek in applicants. Attendees will also take part in an interactive admissions case study workshop, offering a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how decisions are made at highly selective US universities.

For any students or families of students in Years 10-12 planning to apply to the USA, this workshop will be invaluable.
