Careers Talk for Year 12 students from Financial Times Journalist

Wondering where a degree in English literature and language could take you?

On Wednesday, 04 March, our Year 12 English students will explore the opportunities an English degree can lead to during a careers talk by visiting Financial Times journalist Lucy Warwick-Ching.

Lucy has extensive experience in business reporting, editing, and digital strategy, and is currently the Head of Community at the FT. We believe her story will be inspiring not only for English students, but also for anyone interested in the value of building skills and experience beyond an academic specialism.

Please note: this talk is for Year 12 students only. However, students in Year 10 or 11 with a strong interest in this career path or studying English at university can speak to their English teacher to request permission to attend.
