Class of 2026 University Destinations Summary

We are delighted to report that students from our Class of 2026 are about to embark on their higher education journeys in 14 different countries around the world.

Graduates are attending universities in 14 different countries (they were accepted to 17!)
The UK and USA: 50% of the Class of 2026 enrolled in the UK or USA, a slight drop compared to the 2025 numbers (36% UK, 22% USA)
Interest in Asia is growing, with more students (12%) matriculating to regional unis
Australian universities are likely to be attended by 12% of the Class of 2026. Most of these applications are still in progress, for a Jan/Feb 2027 start date.

The QS World University Rankings 2027 place an impressive 15 university destinations for BSM’s Class of 2026 among the world’s Top 50.

These remarkable destinations sit alongside many other highly regarded and ‘best fit’ universities around the world, reflecting the ambition, hard work and diverse aspirations of our Class of 2026. We congratulate every student on their achievements and wish them all successful and happy tertiary studies.

Class of 2027 start Year 13 with a potential $2.24m in scholarships

Some of our current Year 13 students have already been offered a total of US$2.24million in total scholarships from universities (mostly in the USA) on the Concourse Match platform.

This shows that the 22 students who signed up to the platform are in demand by American colleges and universities, even if most of these are not first-choice schools for our students.

HE Day Wednesday, 26 August

The College Counselling team will be working with the Class of 2027 for a focused HE Day on Wednesday, 26 August, when they will be off timetable and attending workshops designed to enhance and support their university/college applications.

There will then be family meetings taking place between Friday, 28 August and Wednesday, 16 September, the schedule for which has already been shared by email with Year 13 parents. We look forward to seeing parents and students at these meetings, to develop (and, in many cases, finalise) the students’ future plans.
