Maths workshop & Chinese New Year in Senior School

Dear Families,

Thank you to the parents who joined our Maths Workshop on Wednesday. Mr Mowl and Mr Stanley led engaging, hands-on problem-solving activities while guiding parents through our innovative curriculum, designed to support transferable learning.

Chinese New Year

Senior School students embraced the spirit of Chinese New Year by learning how to make dumplings, a traditional dish symbolising wealth and prosperity due to their resemblance to ancient Chinese gold and silver ingots.

We were honoured to have Mrs Huang, mother of Year 9 student Primo, share her culinary expertise during this special activity. Her guidance added an authentic touch, creating a memorable and enriching experience for all participants.

Activities like these provide students with a hands-on opportunity to explore cultural traditions, fostering global citizenship and deepening their appreciation for diversity. Such celebrations enrich our school community and inspire meaningful connections.
