Year 6 Transition Day to Year 7
Dear Families,
This week, we continued our Year 6 transition process into Year 7.
On Wednesday afternoon, we welcomed a large group of parents to a transition information session. During this event, we shared key information, introduced important members of staff, and responded to questions about how best to support their child/ren’s move to Senior School.

As a leadership team, we have been planning this transition carefully over many months in close collaboration with our colleagues in the Primary School. This has included providing Senior School taster classes in key subjects such as Science, where students had the opportunity to explore new environments and learning approaches in advance of their move.

The transition process continued on Thursday morning, when we welcomed our Year 6 students into the Senior School. They were greeted by staff who will be supporting them next year and took part in a range of engaging activities. These included a campus treasure hunt to help them get to know their new environment, as well as team-building games designed to help them bond with their peers and feel more confident about the transition.
Have a wonderful weekend.
