Dear Families, So, here we are with just two weeks until the end of Term 2. After the extraordinary success of last week’s International Evening, the fun and excitement have continued in Senior School. Throughout the week, our students have been privileged to spend time exploring physical theatre with the incredible Red Leap Theatre Workshop. Thank you to Mr Hannon and Mrs Everley for facilitating this wonderful experience for our budding actors.
Yesterday afternoon was also the highly anticipated Senior School Assembly which is traditionally prepared and presented by our Deputy Head Students. Expectations were high but there is no doubt that Andre and Isabel delivered a memorable assembly filled with time-honoured traditions such as the BSEMMY’s, as well as mesmerising musical performances and teacher-student challenges. I’m happy to share that the students took the honours this time. Teachers - must try harder!
International Women’s Day Today, of course, we are celebrating the incredible women who brighten our lives and make a difference every day. Here's to the incredible women in our BSM community who inspire us and shape our world with wisdom, kindness and compassion. To honour International Women’s Day, many of our students will be staying after school today to watch a screening of Hidden Figures' which embodies this spirit of breaking barriers and championing diversity.
Have a wonderful weekend.
