Primary School Trips, Turtle Day, & PTCs

Dear Parents,

Year 4 returned from their Residential Trip this afternoon tired but happy having enjoyed a host of outdoor learning experiences over the past 2 days. Year 5 students are now excitedly preparing for their Residential Trip to Mount Purro next week.

Thank you to all our parents for taking the time to talk to our teachers on Tuesday during the Parent Teacher Conferences. Spending time without distractions and talking about learning progress with parents is always a joy for our teachers. For anyone who was not able to make an appointment, please reach out to your child/ren’s teacher to make another appointment at a mutually convenient time.

Well done to our Year 2 students and staff team who held a wonderful Turtle Day on Wednesday. This was part of their inquiry learning unit about Life in the Ocean following on from their recent visits to Manila Ocean Park at the beginning of the term. We have been focussing our attention on helping all our Primary School students to love our world and all the nature offers within it - this unit of learning certainly helped our students to grow in awe, wonder, and appreciation of ocean life.
