Another great week of learning and fun in Primary School

Another great week of learning and fun in Primary School

Dear Parents and Families,

It has been another positive week across the Primary School, filled with the kind of hands-on learning and shared celebrations that make our community so special. From the youngest learners finding their voice to our oldest students exploring the great outdoors, there has been a wonderful energy in the air.

Out and About: Our students have been busy exploring the world beyond the classroom this week…

  • Year 1 at Holy Carabao Farm: Despite a rainy start to the morning, the clouds parted just in time! The students arrived in clear skies and enjoyed a fantastic day of farm-based fun. It was wonderful for them to engage with nature and learning about the world around them.
  • Year 6 Residential Trips: Our Year 6 students have just returned this afternoon from a fun-filled three-day, two-night trip to Villa Escudero. These residential trips are such pivotal moments for building independence and lasting friendships, and I’m sure they have many stories to share with their parents this weekend.

A Star Performance

We rounded off the week with a delightful Reception Class Assembly. It was a joy to see our youngest students showcase their growing skills and confidence on stage. Thank you to all the parents who joined us to cheer them on—your support truly means the world to them.

Looking Ahead: World Book Week/Day

Next week, we dive into the magic of stories as we celebrate World Book Day on Thursday. We have a fantastic lineup of activities planned to foster a love of reading, including: Dress Up Day (Thursday), Secret Reader Photo Activity. Storytime. Book Fair. Book Drive. Full details for parents can be found in the year group Google Communication Hubs today.

A huge thank you to Ms Sofia and our dedicated Learning Resource Centre (LRC) team for their hard work in organising such an inspiring week for our students.

I wish you all a restful and happy weekend.

Warm regards,

Mrs Katie Tomlinson

Head of Primary School
