Dear Parents,
This week we enjoyed a great exhibition for Year 5 focussing on writing. One of the pieces of writing the students shared with adults from home was their letters of gratitude.
Gratitude is one of the character strengths we encourage students to strengthen by being thankful and expressing it in words and deeds to others. This writing activity fitted well with other activities taking place across the school this week as part of the Flourish Festival. Thank you to Mrs Roisin Pearson for her time and energy in planning the week for staff and students, the highlight of which was surely the afternoon of fun during the Spirit Day on Wednesday on the Simon Mann Sports Field. It was a great lead into the holiday weeks.
Just a reminder that school starts back for Term 3 on Tuesday, 09 April.
