So much joy in Primary School this week! Thanks to all involved in HONK! Jr

Dear Parents and Families,

So much joy in Primary School to be proud of and celebrate this week.

The Years 5 & 6 Drama Production of HONK! Jr was a huge success on Thursday, and undoubtedly, their performance will be equally good later today, Friday. This production has been months in the making with students and staff committing to weekend practises and juggling other commitments alongside learning lines, perfecting performance and preparing costumes. Well done to the students, and thank you to Mrs Everley for leading this opportunity and to the supporting staff and CAC team. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join as an audience member in supporting our students also.

The annual Year 1 Jumble Sale took place on Thursday & Friday. Thank you to everyone who donated pre-loved items. We will let parents know how much we managed to raise once the final count is in!

Reception visited Sta Elena Fun Farm on Friday, also. The Fun Farm offers our students an opportunity to spend time outdoors in natural play spaces and nature. Thank you to Mr Everley and the Reception team for their organisation and planning in putting this trip together.

The week ended with excitement as Year 2 got ready for their Overnight Camp this evening. Thank you to Ms Kandace and the Year 2 team for planning a camp full of fun activities and for leaving their own families overnight to spend time with our students.

As we head into the last week of the term, we still have the Year 5 & Year 6 Exhibitions to look forward to on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, and a number of friendly sports fixtures in the afternoons.

Warm regards,

Mrs Katie Tomlinson

Head of Primary School
