FOBISIA Maths Challenge & Vocal & Instrumental Programme Recital highlights

Dear Parents and Families,

Eight of our students from Year 5 and 6 travelled to Shanghai with Mr Gane and Ms Percela to attend the FOBISIA Maths Competition 2026 for four days last week. It was great to get the positive daily updates from them via email each day—full of joy and good news. The team did exceptionally well, and we gained our first award thanks to Aiden (Year 6). The team were supportive of each other and were great ambassadors for BSM. Thanks to Mr Gane and Ms Percela for their time in preparing the students, planning the visit, and giving their time to accompany them.

Thank you to Ms Lesley Aldaba and Mr Jeremy Meddows-Taylor for organising the Vocal and Instrumental Programme recitals this week.
Two great sessions provided a performance platform for the Primary School students learning an instrument. It is great to be able to offer this opportunity and have so many students join us.
