Transition sessions, Nursery trip, Philippine Independence Day Celebrations, and remaining things to look forward to

Dear Parents and Families,

On Tuesday, we hosted transition sessions in our new classes and teachers.

In speaking with Primary School students later in the day over lunchtime, they were expressing great excitement and anticipation for what the next year might hold for them.

Thank you to the teachers for making transition sessions a positive part of change.

Yesterday, our Nursery students enjoyed a day out at Museo Pambata. Thank you to Ms Marie for arranging this trip, and thank you to the many staff who supported, including some of our PE team, Nurses, and guards. A great day was had by all.

As we head into the public holiday long weekend for the Philippine Independence Day celebrations, we celebrated with support from our parent reps in EYFS and Year 4, who held their final exhibition of the year.

Despite us only having four full school days left, we have lots going on still.

Please join us for BSM Sports Awards on Monday, 15 June, the Summer Concert on Thursday, 18 June and the Final Assembly on Friday, 19 June. The students will also have their end-of-year celebration parties, and we have a special celebration event for our Year 6 students planned.

Warm regards,

Mrs Katie Tomlinson

Head of Primary School
