Welcome to Term 2!

Happy New Year and welcome back to school.  

We welcomed 10 new students to Primary School on Monday - thank you to all who made their first week a smooth start to BSM life.

Next week, on Tuesday, there are PTC meetings all day and Primary School is closed for lessons on this day in order to accommodate the meetings. It is not too late to still make your appointment for an online or face-to-face meeting. If there are no suitable meeting slots available, please contact your child/ren's class teacher as they are always willing to accommodate requests made whenever they are able.

The final stages of planning for the Key Stage 2 trips is now taking place with the online parent meetings for Years 4, 5, and 6 taking place this week. The online meeting for Year 3 parents is on Tuesday, 21 January at 08.00am.

If you are unable to attend the meetings, you can watch the recordings and view the slides when they are shared with parents.

Thank you this week to our Year 3 parents who planned the Dinagyang Festival celebration in Year 3 on Thursday.  What a great start to the year this was for Year 3 students with festival head-dresses, face painting, games, food, and activities. They were so looking forward to it at lunchtime and when I went to pay them an afternoon visit they were having a wonderful time. Thank you parents for this.
