Primary Art Exhibit, Year 4 and Year 5 Exhibitions, and Summer Scheme Update - Down to the very last few spaces!

Primary Art Exhibit, Year 4 and Year 5 Exhibitions, and Summer Scheme Update - Down to the very last few spaces!

Dear Parents,

The week started well in Primary School with the opening of the Primary Art Exhibition in the Creative Arts Centre. The work this year is a great display which illustrates the variety of art techniques, media and used across our art curriculum in Primary School. Ms Laura and Ms Utari have done a wonderful job of guiding the work of our students in supporting them to select their favourite end piece and coordinate the display of the work. It really is a fantastic exhibition and I urge all to take the time to visit and see the wonderful works on display.

Year 5 and Year 4 held their final exhibitions of the year on Tuesday and Friday. It is great to see students showcasing their work collaboratively in groups so proudly in Year 5.  Year 4 showcased their best pieces of work, and see the progress they have made over the year.

Next week, we are looking forward to the Year 6 End of Primary Celebration Assembly along with the BSM Sports Awards evening on Wednesday. Please remember that we also have a shorter week with a day of public holiday on Thursday, 12 June.

Wishing you a peaceful weekend,

Summer Scheme 2025 Update

Registration is still open! Down to the very last few spaces!

Thank you for all your interest in the 2025 Summer Scheme. Summer Scheme registration is currently open for Nursery to Year 6 current BSM students. We have had a terrific response, and slots are being filled quickly. As of the time of writing, we have 10 places left. Please note we are very close to being full in Groups 1 and 2  and cannot accept any more students.

This is a two-week program, and to run it, we needed 65 students spread across four groups. We have a maximum of 80 places available, and we have achieved the number needed to run the scheme.

Once a group reaches 20, then that group will be closed, and any others wishing to join after will be placed on a waiting list.

The cost of the scheme is Php28,000.00, and payment will confirm a place on the scheme. Please click on the link here to the Google Form, which will inform you of the registration and payment details needed. Should, for any reason, the scheme not go ahead, then all payments will be refunded. If for any reason a child misses a day/days, there cannot be a refund as all payments go towards resources and staffing costs overall for the scheme.

We are currently planning and staffing the scheme. Please note the scheme is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. The scheme filled up very quickly last year.

Should you have any further queries, please direct them to Mr Cosgrove: scosgrove@britishschoolmanila.org
