Congratulations to our BSM Class of 2025!

Congratulations to our BSM Class of 2025!

Dear BSM Family,

As we approach the final days of the academic year, there is a special sense of anticipation in the air. Tomorrow, we gather to celebrate the Class of 2025 at their IB Graduation Ceremony, a momentous occasion that marks both an ending and a beginning.

Graduation invites us to reflect on the journeys our students have taken, from curious young learners to thoughtful, accomplished individuals ready to take on the world. Notably, it reminds us just how swiftly time moves in the life of a school and the value of fleeting time. Days that once felt routine for our graduands, a morning registration, a lunchtime conversation, a final rehearsal, now become cherished memories. As our graduates prepare to take their final walk across the BSM stage, we celebrate all those little moments that shaped their years with us.

The Class of 2025 has shown exceptional character and resilience. Their commitment to learning, leadership, service and BSM has enriched our school community in so many ways. They have been role models, innovators, and friends. Tomorrow’s ceremony will not only acknowledge their achievements but also the strength of spirit that defines this cohort during their time at BSM.

In true BSM fashion, the Year 13 class also continued the cherished tradition of end-of-year pranks, light-hearted mischief that brought laughter to the halls and smiles across campus. In fact, their pranks kicked off with a surprise early morning visit to yours truly last Saturday. What a pleasant surprise to spend time with a group of students in an informal gathering around my dining table.

All the best to the IBDP Class of 2025 for your graduation tomorrow, and a sincere thank you to our parents on the Graduation Committee for your tremendous efforts.

Warm regards,

Martin van der Linde
