BSM students flourishing in sports, academics, and the arts
Dear BSM Family,
For the past two days, BSM has been abuzz with the U18 ISAC (International Schools Athletics Conference) Competition that we’re hosting for football and basketball. Well done to our teams who, as always, dominate in the ISAC competitions, and to our coaches and staff who support them. I am so proud to be part of a school that hosts professionally run events of such high calibre. I have thoroughly enjoyed spectating and the support from our students and parents for their teams has been fantastic to see, especially the inspired Mexican wave in the Main Hall! Bravo to the teams and our spectators too.
Our sporting calendar is becoming increasingly stretched and a strategic review is in the offing for future competitive pathways. As with the current ISAC, we are constantly honouring our pledge to holistic education. Just last weekend, we hosted our BSM Sports Football (sports ✔), our KS3 mathematicians competed in the secondary Maths FOBISIA competition at Garden International School Kuala Lumpur (academics ✔), and our own Four Squared band rocked it to Silver in the FOBISIA Battle of the Bands at Nexus International Malaysia (arts ✔). There is, of course, so much more going on as part of our never-ending commitment to student experience.
