The reflection of BSM's values in our students' achievements

Dear BSM Family,

As the calendar year and our first term of the school year come to a close, there have been countless moments of joy, pride, and inspiration that have enriched our school community. Two recent highlights stand out, beautifully showcasing the talents and dedication of our wonderful BSM students: the production of A Christmas Carol and their outstanding achievements in recent sports competitions.

The Christmas production of A Christmas Carol was a true celebration of our students' talent and love for the performing arts. Their enthusiasm and dedication were on full display as they embraced new roles—whether as actors, singers, or behind-the-scenes technicians. Their eagerness to explore their creativity in ways that brought them immense joy was truly inspiring.

Students shared with me that the laughter and camaraderie during rehearsals, the excitement of learning lines and perfecting their craft, and the nerves and thrill of performing in front of an audience have created life-long memories. For them, it wasn’t just about putting on a show; it was about discovering their potential, sharing their passion, and having fun every step of the way. To each and every one of you involved—BRAVO! To Mr Paul Hannon and the VPA/CAC teams, on behalf of the cast, crew, and captivated audiences—thank you for your exceptional efforts.

In the realm of sports, our students have also enjoyed a season to remember. From thrilling basketball and volleyball games to impressive swims and displays of teamwork on the fields, their commitment and resilience have been truly inspiring. Whether celebrating hard-fought victories or cheering each other on from the sidelines, these moments of camaraderie and determination have demonstrated their strength of character and the joy they find in working together. To our tireless coaches and supportive parents, thank you for playing an integral role in these achievements.

What makes these accomplishments so special is how they reflect the values we hold dear as a school. At BSM, we believe education goes beyond academics—it’s about helping our students discover their passions, develop their talents, and grow into confident, compassionate individuals. Their performances, on stage and in sports, are a testament to this belief.

Our values also extend to our broader community. Tomorrow, we will host over 150 teaching colleagues from local DepEd schools at our inaugural Education Outreach Conference. With the theme Learning and Growing Together in Collaboration, the conference underscores our commitment to fostering an environment of shared learning and professional growth, bringing educators together to inspire, connect, and collaborate in meaningful ways.

To our exceptional BSM faculty and academic support teams, thank you for your unwavering professionalism and heartfelt dedication. Your generous sharing of time and knowledge, paired with your genuine commitment to our community, is truly inspiring. In fact, we received more session proposals from our BSM team than we had spaces available—a true testament to your enthusiasm and willingness to contribute.

Wishing everyone a family-filled and restful weekend.

Notice of Withdrawal

Dear Parents,

With Christmas Break and the start of another exciting year on the horizon, we are also aware some families may be starting to make plans to move on. If you intend to leave before Term 3, we ask you to complete the Notice of Withdrawal Form on or before Friday, 06 December 2024.

As places at BSM are in high demand, this allows us to plan for changes in classes and ensures you are not charged. As a reminder, if we do not receive a notice of withdrawal, the school will charge full fees for Term 3.

Thank you.
