Dear BSM Family,
Maligayang Pasko!
This is always a very special time of the year, more so in the wonderfully caring and giving community that it is. At the end of the term, seeing our students more confident, more capable, and more compassionate fills me with both pride and awe, pride in being part of the BSM experience, and awe at our students’ abilities, creativity, adaptability, and resilience. As a community, we all work towards this end. My humblest gratitude to all who share this commitment.
A huge thank you to everyone in our community who helps make this possible, and a special thank you to the 42 donors who made our all-staff Christmas party extra special. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.

Primary School: Online Safety and Social Media Awareness, Wednesday, 14 January 2026, 08.00am-09.00am, LRC Level 2 Screen Space
In this session, we will explore current online trends and risks. We will discuss the benefits and challenges presented by the use of Artificial Intelligence and share practical resources that parents can utilise at home. Please note this is a repeat of the session offered on 16 November 2025.

Year 12 Parent & Student Higher Education and Extended Essay Afternoon, Wednesday, 14 January 2026, 02.30pm-05.30pm, Bayanihan Hall, CAC
Families of Year 12 students are warmly invited to our Higher Education and Extended Essay Afternoon on Wednesday, 14 January 2026. This expanded event offers a series of optional, destination-specific breakout sessions from 02.30pm-04.15pm (details shared directly with Year 12 families).
Following these sessions, we will hold a Higher Education & Extended Essay Information Session from 04.20pm-05.30pm, where we will outline key guidance and expectations for the year ahead. Slides and materials will be shared with all Year 12 students and parents after the event.
We look forward to supporting our Year 12 families as they begin this important stage of the HE and EE journey!
