Representing BSM at COBIS and 2nd annual BSM Alumni Connect
Dear BSM Family,
As I mentioned last week, as you read this I am currently in London, representing BSM at the COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Annual Conference. As a COBIS Member School, we are part of the COBIS network which spreads to 80 countries worldwide. These type of events help maintain BSM’s strong connections with other schools and institutions and highlight our ongoing dedication not only to staying informed about developments in international education, but also to leading learning and sharing best practice and innovations with peer schools.
I also had the pleasure of hosting our 2nd annual BSM Alumni Connect event for our alumni in the UK. We had over 30 attendees at the alumni event last night! Hearing our alums speak so passionately about their time at BSM and their dreams for their future has been truly uplifting and makes me feel truly proud to be part of our wonderful BSM community.
Connections with similarly-minded schools at COBIS, with universities and with alumni all contribute to a strong extended community.
Don’t forget your tickets for our Term 3 community event, the Great British Splash, led by the PTA on Friday, 23 May at 04.30pm – a fantastic community celebration not to be missed!
Wishing you a family-filled weekend,
Head of School
