Thank you for a wonderful Term 1!

Thank you for a wonderful Term 1!

Dear BSM Family,

As we close off this first term of the year, it’s a joy to reflect on our thriving community, where we continue to seize opportunities and grow together. Together, we celebrate our successes collectively, face challenges with unity, and nurture an environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to contribute.

This sense of connection resonates deeply with me through the African philosophy of Ubuntu, which emphasizes our shared humanity. It can be summed up in the saying, “I am because we are” — or “I am me because of you.” Each of us contributes to the fabric of our school community, and together, we embody the spirit of connection, care, and mutual growth. We are reminded that we thrive most when we thrive together.

This past term has been a journey of growth, not only through our individual actions but also through the support and successes of others. We’ve shared moments of joy and happiness, as well as challenges and tears. And, through it all, we have remained united.

I would like to extend my congratulations to everyone who actively participated, organised or supported our endeavours in academics, arts, sports, service activities and events this term.

To our staff teams, thank you for upholding our vision and values, and always working towards the success of our students. On behalf of the students, I express my heartfelt gratitude.

A special thank you goes to our incredible BSM teachers - from me and on behalf of students and parents too.

A huge thank you to our Parents, Parent Representatives, the hardworking PTA, and our ever-supportive Governors. Your involvement and support are truly appreciated.

And to our students, a massive thank you. You are the heart of this school. Your efforts, energy, and spirit make everything worthwhile. Mad respect. You truly are the greatest of all time.

Enjoy a well-deserved, family-filled, peaceful break, I look forward to the continued success of our family in the upcoming term.

Notice of Withdrawal

Dear Parents,

With Christmas Break and the start of another exciting year on the horizon, we are also aware some families may be starting to make plans to move on. If you intend to leave before Term 3, we ask you to complete the Notice of Withdrawal Form on or before Friday, 06 December 2024.

As places at BSM are in high demand, this allows us to plan for changes in classes and ensures you are not charged. As a reminder, if we do not receive a notice of withdrawal, the school will charge full fees for Term 3.

Thank you.
