The British School Manila is looking for a collaborative, enthusiastic, highly motivated and learning-focussed professional who enjoys working with students between the ages of 7 and 11 years of age to join the Primary School team in August 2024. The successful candidate will support the learning of students as part of a dynamic class and year group team.
Primary Learning Assistant
The British School Manila is proud to have a thriving learning environment with well trained teachers and Primary Learning Assistants. All of our Primary Learning Assistants are qualified teachers and many hold master’s degrees and qualifications in other fields.
Specifically, amongst other tasks, The ideal candidate will:
- Help to support and provide an environment that promotes learning.
- Assist the Class Teacher with the development and delivery of lessons and the curriculum
- Demonstrate and develop technical and digital skills necessary to support student learning in the classroom.
- Support the effective running and management of the classroom.
- Make contributions in planning meetings and to year group events e.g. exhibitions and assemblies.
- Be familiar with safeguarding in an educational context and have an understanding of the responsibilities to protect children and young people in our care.
Qualifications:
- Holder of a relevant degree in Primary Education
- Experience of working within schools and children aged between 7-11 years.
- Undertaken recent professional development which relates to classroom practice.
- Work experience in a multi-cultural and/or academic environment is an advantage.

Remuneration
The pay and benefits package in Philippine peso will be tailored based on the
