were all

We visited different temples and interviewed monks
to find out more
about Buddhism - the monks were
really friendly and informative |
We all enjoyed learning how to cook
mouth-watering Thai dishes at the
Chiang Mai cookery school – though
we may have added one too many
chillies |
The elephant ride through the forests
of Chiang Mai was great – we also
learnt about what goes on in
elephant conservation camps. |

We had fun in the mud at the
buffalo farm and enjoyed planting
rice – the bike ride there and back
was pretty tiring though! |
On our final evening there was a
great cultural show and we sent the
lanterns that we made earlier in the
week up into the dark night sky – it
was really cool! |
The Khantoke dinner was great
because we got to eat with our
fingers and sit on the floor – it’s
traditional! |
