After School Activities
In line with our Mission and Vision Statement the After School Activity (ASA) programme at The British School Manila provides students with a very wide range of opportunities to broaden their education. Activities take place daily, and although most start at 2.30pm and run until 3.15pm, some sporting activities begin at 3.30pm and run until 4.30pm.
Students sign up for their ASAs online at the start of the academic year. The first session runs until February half term, and the second session begins after half term and runs until the end of the school year.
There are three types of ASAs:
1. Teacher-led ASAs which take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays,
2. Sporting ASAs which usually involve training for team events such as football or basketball,
3. Paid ASAs which are run by external facilitators.
